The schwere SS-Panzer-Abteilung 101 arrived in Normandy from Paris on 12 June 1944 after a road march conducted mostly during the night due to the Allied air threat. This is Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I "222" after arrival in its designated assembly area around Villers-Bocage.
